Do you have any plan for the weekend? or for the long weekend coming up next week? Why don't you go to Bali Zoo! Bring your friends and family and enjoy the day. Located within 22 acres of lush landscape in the heart of art village in Singapadu, Bali was established as Bali's first zoological park in Bali in 2002. As home to more than 350 exotic animals, Bali Zoo is primarily built upon quality eco-habitats where animals reside and well cared extensively by Bali Zoo staff.

At Bali Zoo, you can experiences wildlife in its closest way possible, where you can marvel and interact with their diverse collection of exquisite zoo inhabitants through fully supervised activities, day and night

After took a tour at Bali Zoo, you must feel exhausted and hungry. Bali Zoo also provides you with 3 different restaurants. One of them is Wana Restaurant. Wana is the word for jungle in Balinese language. Wana is an enchanting destination in its own right and no admission ticket to the zoo is required to come and enjoy the sumptuous delight it has to offer.

Aiming to provide Asian food as well as a range of international dishes, Wana Restaurant makes a smart way to eat while feeling close to nature. Set in a two-story tree house next to the lion's area (revealed through thick glass windows, don't worry), you will have the experience of being up close and personal with the animals.

Our favorite is this Lontong Cap Go meh. It is a Peranakan Chinese and Indonesian dishes. It's a lontong rice cake served with richly flavoured dishes which includes opor ayam (chicken in coconut milk), sayur lodeh (vegetables soup), hot and spicy liver, hard boiled egg, koya powder made of soy and dried shrimp of beef floss, pickles, chili paste and prawn cracker.

A range of delectable desserts is also available at Wana Restaurant. Our favorite is this Chocolate Lava cake with vanilla ice cream on top of it. So, if you happen to be around Ubud, it's always a good idea to visit Bali Zoo and Wana Restaurant.
